in the Indian Ocean, the archipelago made up of 115 islands,
remains a natural paradise and a very well known destination
for its deserted beaches of white sand washed by warm, clear
seas, and shaded by leaf palms and kindly takamakas.
Today, with the
backing of a wide variety of conservations laws and an increasing
awareness of the importance of the environment, there is much
to be optimisitc about. Nature is making a comeback and the
natural heritage of Seychelles, its richest asset, is being
preserved for the benefit of the Seychellois, visitors and
the future.
